I used to own some gold bullion when I was younger. I kept them in my flat, but they were well-hidden so that only me and my family knew where it was. There were ten big heavy bullion bars. I guess they could be worth a lot of money today. Perhaps I could even afford to go on a trip to some of the places I have always wanted to visit. But this will never happen. I sold the gold bullion a couple of years ago. I don"t regret my decision at all. I found myself in a difficult position. My daughter, who was six-year-old at the time, had a dangerous accident. It happened during a trip in the mountains. It was winter so we decided go skiing. My daughter learned to ski in no time, she was actually much better than me! But unfortunately something terrible happened. She was hit by an adult snowboarder and fell off a steep slope. She broke her leg and injured her left hip really badly. We took her to the hospital at once, then she was transported to another one. The injuries were really bad and nobody wanted to operate on her immediately. They had some more serious cases to take care of. We finally found a private clinic. I needed money for the operation, so I sold all the gold bullion bars. I did not regret it at all. My daughter could walk alone after just ten weeks and a year later, she was able to ski again.
